Sony were right to point out that God of War III was only due this fiscal year, not calendar year, as the game has now been given an official release time frame. And it’s March 2010.
Which will no doubt disappoint God of War fans hoping for some Christmas carnage on the PS3, but then, God of War fans should know that the last two games were out in March as well. So don’t look on this as a letdown. Look on it as a game simply fulfilling its destiny.
God of War III is huge amounts of awesome to any Playstation 3 owner.

I like action games, racing, shooting games, good graphics, which is best and why?
If you consider yourself a hardcore gamer, you can definitely rule out the gamecube. That was last-gen. The three major competitors are Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360. The Wii’s graphics are low quality in comparison to the other two. However, the PS3 is ALOT more expensive than the 360. The 360 is a solid console with alot of great games. Go with the Xbox.

Also, If I buy the Xbox 360, I can buy a PSP 3000, and a Nintendo DSi with it. But, If I buy a Playstation 3, I can only buy the Nintendo DSi because It would be stupid for me because I do not travel that much, to buy a PSP 3000.
Well, I also want a system that would not get old in two years, so lets say a new Xbox came out in two years. Will Xbox stop making Xbox 360 Consoles and games? Yes, because when the Xbox 360 came out, Xbox stopped making the original Xbox and continued making Xbox 360 Consoles.
Will Playstation stop making the Playstation 3 when the Playstation 4 comes out? No, because they stopped making the Playstation 1 in 2005 and that they are still making Playstation 2 Consoles and games for it.
Can you all please explain your answer and do not just tell me what to get, but explain why you think that way! Thank You Everybody!
Also, please do not say Xbox 360 because it has Halo and Left 4 Dead 2 because I hate shooting games.
I would say get a Playstation 3. Most of the Xbox exclusives are great, but they are shooters and you don’t like those.
PS3, if you have a HDTV, also includes Blu-Ray which is awesome. You can get on the internet. Watch movies from PSN. Etc.
It’s the best piece of gaming hardware out there right now.
The PSP3000 is good and all, but unless you travel a lot, I see no need why you would want one.

So, I obviously have more Playstation 3 Games that I like, but it is not about having a lot of games. It is about the Games that you like. If I buy an Xbox 360, than I am going to buy a PSP 3000 because having a PSP 3000 would be different. Anyway, or I can just wait until Xbox or Sony comes out with a new console because I currently have a Nintendo Wii. If I wait for a new console to come out than I will be getting a PSP 3000 or a PSP GO, and an iPod Touch or Nintendo DSi. HELP!!! I want to buy something new and improved. I can wait for 2 years but not more so HELP!!!
Well PS3 is currently the most advanced system for gaming and it was built to last for 10 years in the gaming industry and I hate to break it to you, the next generation of consoles will not be coming out for the next few years. Also even if Microsoft creates another system and pops i tout now it won’t do any any good in the industry and I highly doubt it would compare to the PS3 still. PS3 is built so that you only have to download updates on it, that are free by the way and you dont have to spend more money upgrading it to make it better like the Xbox 360.
You already have more games listed that you would enjoy playing on PS3, and to let you in on something, Sony is developing a motion wand and new games compatible with the motion wand for PS3.
Your best bet would be to get a PS3. Trust me I’m a proud owner and I’ve played the other systems and like my Sony products the best
I have finally been told by my wife I can get one. We have a small child, and have have connvinced her it is good for the little one, although I am more excited.
Ok heres the thing .
1. We like games , 2.We have a PSP and playstation 2 , 3.We have access to the internet through the home computer so dont need that on a console . 4.Online gaming sounds great. 5.Bluray sounds good, but so does the xbox online market.

If you want at least 6-7 years of enjoyment from your purchase, the only option is the PS3. Microsoft is going to have to release a new system within the next 3 years. The 360 was rushed out and therefore doesn’t include certain technologies that will be standard in the near future(Bluetooth, Blu-Ray, Wi-Fi,etc.). The PS3 is built for the future.
There are many great games out for it right now. Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Call of Duty 4, and Assassin’s Creed are just a few.
A slew of great games are coming out this year. Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Gran Turismo 5, Grand Theft Auto 4, Haze, and many more will be out this year.
Playstation Home will be everything XBox Live is plus so much more. Look it up on Youtube for a video preview.
The PSP and PS3 are made to be used together. You can access all the files on your PS3 with the PSP from anywhere in the world as long as you are near a Wi-Fi hot spot. Some PS3 games are even playable on the PSP through Remote Play.
